How to report a listing or user, and what happens next.
How to report
Every listing has a Report button. Choose a reason — scam, fake listing, illegal item, misleading information, harassment, unsafe accommodation or fake job — and add any details that help us investigate.
What happens next
Reports go to our moderation queue. We may hide the listing while we review, contact the advertiser for evidence, remove the listing, or suspend the account. Repeat or serious abuse results in a permanent ban.
Verification badges
Badges show which checks a user has completed — email, phone, business or identity. A badge is not a guarantee: always follow the Safety Centre advice.
Crime and emergencies
If you have been the victim of a crime, report it to the police (101, or 999 in an emergency) and to Action Fraud. We cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
